Wednesday Wonders

So today was Wednesday... which meant that first thing this morning (its rubbish day) I wake to the sound of the rubbish truck coming up the street, stopping, emptying a bin and then roaring off again.  So I wait.. for the sound of my toddlers door opening...... there it is then slam! He shouts excitedly "Truck! truck!" so off we go out the front door (me with hair everywhere, stumbling from sleepiness) to watch the rubbish truck empty our bin. This is a Wednesday morning ritual , to my toddler Wednesday morning watching the rubbish truck is like Santa coming!! So however tired I am it is still nice to see such wonder and awe in something so mundane, gotta love looking at the world through the eyes of a child lol!
